Rubin Hermann
Having had to bide his time to get a first crack at franchise cricket, Rubin Hermann made the most of his debut season with the Paarl Royals in 2025.
Batting at number three against Pretoria Capitals the right-hander struck a 33-ball 56 in a 125-run stand with Joe Root.
Hermann added another score of 59 in the group stages before in Qualifier 2 of SA20, having made the switch to GM on the morning of the match, he hit an unbeaten 81 from 53 balls to top score for the Royals.
That knock ended a nine-game stint in which he scored his 333 runs at an average of 41.62 and strike rate of just under 128.
Particularly prolific in the white-ball arena, Hermann has a List A record of just over 1,200 runs at an average of just under 50 in his 31 matches to date.
