Bat Sizing

First of all, you need to decide which bat size is most suitable for you or the player you are buying for.

• Sizes 0-6 are generally designed for junior players
• Harrow is often suited to taller juniors and teenagers.
• Full-size bats are generally recommended for adult players measuring 1.69m/5ft 7in and over.
• Delta bats are full-sized bats but are guaranteed to come in under 2lb9oz, perfect for anyone above 5ft 7in who wants the same power from a slightly lighter bat

Factors such as willow grade, bat profile, sweet spot position, balance, pick-up, and weight can all influence how a bat feels and performs across different formats, playing conditions, and batting styles.

Every GM bat is designed to suit different playing styles and preferences. Because every cleft of willow is unique, no two bats will feel exactly the same. While technical specifications are important, the right bat is ultimately the one that feels most comfortable and confident in your hands. We always recommend comparing several bats before making your final choice.

Beyond size, the blade is one of the most important factors influencing how a cricket bat performs and feels in play. GM bats are available with two blade options, L540 and L555. The shorter L540 blade can help create a more compact profile and lighter pick-up, while the longer L555 blade can provide a larger hitting area and suit players who prefer a longer blade shape.
