Dayyan Galiem
Completing the dream of pulling on an international shirt at the end of 2024, Dayyaan Galiem’s T20 prowess has been evident since he made debut aged 18 back in 2015.
Sixty short format games later and Galiem was representing South Africa against Pakistan in Centurion, taking 2-21 from his four overs.
Capable of hitting the deck hard and clearing the rope in clutch situations, Galiem has four-wicket hauls and fifties in each format, including an unbeaten century in First-Class cricket.
With over 220 wickets and 3,000 runs already to his name, and coming into the prime of his cricketing career aged 28, Galiem’s name will likely crop up in South African circles for many years to come.
