Competitor Basketball Hoop

Competitor is our entry level adult basketball system designed for those players who’ve outgrown NET1’s junior hoops and looking for their first full-size personal basketball experience. 

Competitor features our fully-portable blow-moulded offset Hex Base. Hex can be effortlessly wheeled around on two integrated wheels and offers a 270° playfield thanks its recessed base. We designed the Hex Base to make lay-ups and under-the-hoop play just that little bit easier. 

Competitor has a pad-protected premium, powder coated, three-piece solid steel 7.62cm diameter pole. It’s 1.2mm wall thickness offers strength and durability. Competitor’s collar adjustment system means ballers can change its height from 2.28m-3.05m (7’5”-10’) in just a few minutes, without tools. 

The game-shaped backboard is made from impact resistant polypropylene and has UV inhibitors to reduce discolouration. A rear-mounted steel T-Bar gives excellent rebound characteristics. The fixed, solid full-size, high visibility orange steel rim has a 2.5mm backplate. A hard-wearing all-weather 12-loop nylon net completes the system.
