Cancer touches almost every family in Britain. Yet despite how common it is, the word still carries fear, silence, and stigma. CancerBae is on a mission to change that - through youth basketball!
Founded by Will Wise, a former professional basketball player and Stage 4 cancer patient, CancerBae was born out of personal adversity.
Diagnosed in January 2023, Will refused to let cancer define him.
Instead, he channelled his experience into something bigger - a platform that reframes cancer not as a source of shame or dread, but as a call to hope, resilience, and togetherness.
And Molten would like to help him.
With 1 in 2 people expected to receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, CancerBae exists to change the cultural narrative around cancer for all of us.
A charitaball purchase will directly fund community social events, resources for children and siblings affected by cancer, and practical support for families navigating financial hardship.
It will also help grow an ambassador programme and advisory group, changing the cultural narrative around cancer, reaching audiences that traditional campaigns never get near.
